Awareness of Responsibility
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” 1 Corinthians 4:2 Last week I shared with you about God’s sovereignty in history. Such history that led from one thing to another and eventually to the awareness of the responsibility for me as a receiver of Darlene Deibler Rose’s testimony. Her testimony impacted my salvation, leading me to my Savior’s feet as well as my desired walk with God.
A Sovereign God in History
“Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.” Psalm 135:6 God is in control of every event in history. Nothing happens that surprises our Lord and what does occur falls perfectly in His weaving plan even when we don’t understand. Darlene Diebler Rose discovered December 7, 1941 to be a day of infamy.
Go North – A Lesson on Trust

Is that thought a reality in your life yet? I mean think of the words one by one God is in you. Rather take a moment and personalize them by saying, “God is in me.” Is He?
Saved for His Glory
“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. ” Isaiah 45:22 God desires that ALL come to salvation. How often have you wondered, “Lord, who am I that you save me?” How undeserving have you felt before a thrice holy God? How many times have you marveled over God’s faithfulness and grieved over your lack of faith?
Love Others
“Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.” Romans 12:9 How is your love towards others?
Invest Your Talents for God’s Glory
“Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.” Matthew 25:27 Where are you going to invest the talents God entrusted you with?
Effective Communication of Your Faith
“That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.” Philemon 1:6 Effective communication is essential to get the message across of your faith to others.
Beyond Valleys and Mountains
“Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;” Luke 3:5 As you may already know, the Christian walk can be a journey of ups and downs.
